These building blocks are based on an educational practice called Gradual Release of Responsibility that emphasizes mentorship and apprenticeship toward the mastery of skill. This can be practiced in any area where the desire is to take our offspring from NOVICE to MASTERY.

1 - DESIGN THE MODEL

3 - OBESERVE & SUPERVISE

Conduct regular MAINTENANCE and SYSTEMS CHECKS!

UPDATE and ADJUST DESIGN when necessary

Pay attention to the individual needs of your family and how they line up with

You are not going to match the Jones’ so be careful not to get caught up with the “curse of comparison.”
2 - BUILD TOGETHER

Be UNIFIED as a couple to BUILD according to your family’s DESIGN
