ABOUT EUGENE & ANDREA
Eugene Mason III, MBA and Andrea Little Mason, Ed.D. have been married for more than 22 years and are the co-founders of Harmonic Connections PLUS, an organization with focus on relationship sustainability within families, professional contexts and broader communities.

As his name suggests, Eugene is a builder and has 20+ years of experience as a construction project superintendent, with a focus on sustainable practices. He is recognized as a lead field representative in his field. Eugene utilizes his understanding of relationships to navigate relationships between owner representatives, design teams, city officials and subcontractors. He also mentors young men in their introduction to Construction Science. In his personal and family life, his aptitude toward relationships translate into relationship success and satisfaction in his personal relationship and partnership with Andrea as well as the lives of their four sons who they homeschooled for 13 years. Andrea is an educator by profession for more than 20 years. She is also a speaker and the author of Soul Soil: The Good, the Bad, and the Dirt that Makes up Relationships. Her book was the catalyst for her doctoral research, Non-Conventional Gender Roles in Relationship Education Curricula for African Americans. Her research supported the relationship curricula she and Eugene were developing and showed the need for relationship education that helps couples navigate the lifestyle changes and challenges of modern societies.
Eugene and Andrea were college sweethearts at Tuskegee University. Eugene was studying Architecture, while Andrea was studying Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. After their graduations, they married and began expanding their family. They encountered many challenges around their roles as a couple that they had to work through. In many instances, the roles were not traditional, which required that Eugene and Andrea be creative about how they constructed their roles during various seasons of their marriage. Through relationship workshops and enrichment opportunities, they gained the skills and additional perspective to help them overcome relationship challenges of the 21st century.
For the past decade of their marriage, Eugene and Andrea have committed themselves to research and have worked with hundreds of individuals, couples and families to develop relationship education curricula - Maximizing the Connection and Legacy Builders. Their relationship education has been converted into online course designed to allow couples to empower themselves through transformative principles that have been shown to be the foundation of satisfying relationships. They are also the creators of a music project titled Lovers Rendezvous: The Pleasures, the Heartaches and the Triumph of Married Love; and they have extensive expertise and experience with navigating gender roles in relationships.
